What Is the Ty Warner Reserve?
We recently partnered with Código 1530 to curate this bespoke tequila, now named the ‘Ty Warner Reserve’. The choice reflects the elegance and exclusivity synonymous with San Ysidro Ranch, offering guests a truly distinguished experience that mirrors the property’s luxurious ambiance and commitment to excellence.
Inside the Flavor Profile
This special-edition private barrel of Código 1530 Blanco rests in a French Oak, Sauvignon Blanc wine barrel, yielding a deep-bodied flavor with smooth citrus notes, rich minerality of cooked agave, and a hint of hazelnut that lingers softly on the palate.
A Careful Curation
Members of the San Ysidro Ranch food and beverage team flew to Amatitán in the Mexican state of Jalisco to visit the distillery and abundant agave fields encompassing much of the region. After tasting multiple tequilas and some careful consideration, our team ultimately chose the Código 1530 Blanco thanks to its exceptional quality and unique profile
Where to Get Ty Warner Reserve
Just 111 bottles will be available for purchase and sampling on-site – $24 an ounce or $125 a bottle. The tequila will also be available on the new, exclusive cocktail menu in the Speakeasy at Plow & Angel launching soon.
